The energetic second leg of the EA7 Emporio Armani Sportour was hosted in Corvara, one of the most beautiful locations in Val Badia. It was the first of two appointments scheduled to be held on the Dolomite Mountains this winter edition, the second will be Rasun Anterselva – Valdaora, from 15 to 17 February.
Numerous organised sports activities were hosted over the two-day event: snowbiking with the modern fat bikes; ski style preskige; Giro di pista, a giant descent with 21 gates, all inspired by the stages of the upcoming 2019 Giro d’Italia; group snowshoe walk; skiathlon – an Olympic sport included in the World Cup schedule – which combines alpine skiing and biathlon target shooting.
At the event EA7 Emporio Armani provided participants with a selection of jackets from the A/I 18/19 collection, to be tested directly on slopes. Skiers were able to appreciate their style and technical features.
The heart of the event was the Sportour Village located near Funivia Boè, which was energised by the event’s many partners and, at the end of the day, by the Après-ski with music and toasting.
Entertainment and promotional activities were provided by Radio 105, the radio partner for the whole event, which was present both at the Village and at high altitude, with a music area set up near the point of arrival. DJs Bryan Ronzani and Valeria Oliveri livened up the three days of sun and snow.
During the stage, guests were able to board the Vibram Sole Factor Mobile Lab, a veritable laboratory on wheels, for a look at the revolutionary features offered by Vibram Arctic Grip technology and a chance to personalise their footwear free of charge.
The EA7 Emporio Armani Sportour will continue in February with the next stage in Ponte di Legno, Val Camonica, from the 8th to the 10th, which will include the highly anticipated We Glow, a night-time group descent of the ski slopes followed by a Snow Party. The Tour will then continue with the stages in Rasun Anterselva – Valdaora (15-17 February), Sestriere in the Piedmont (22-24 February) and finally Courmayeur in Valle d’Aosta (1-3 March).
