Sestriere has not betrayed expectations and also the fifth stage of the EA7 Emporio Armani Sportour, winter edition, has given us a very special weekend of sport and music. The sporting event, organised by RCS Sports & Events in collaboration with La Gazzetta dello Sport and Radio 105, arrived in the ski area of Vialattea, where participants were able to test their skills on the slopes that have seen the exploits of many champions, including those of the protagonists of the unforgettable Turin 2006 Olympics.

The most eagerly awaited event was the WeGlow, which thrilled and attracted many fans, eager to experience the opportunity to ski at night between lights and music.

In addition to the collective night-time descent on the Kandahar ski run – the first to host a World Cup race in 1994 – there was also the Preskige Ski Style, the training session for the improvement of one’s skiing technique with performance evaluation; snowshoeing; the fat bikes that have allowed cycling enthusiasts to try their hand at snow and ice on the snow bike; the “giro di pista” circuit, the giant descent through 21 gates, all inspired by the stages of the Giro d’Italia 2019.

The staff of Radio 105, the radio partner of the tour as a whole, animated the Village located at the Kandahar Parterre. The big stars, as always, were DJs Bryan Ronzani and Valeria Oliveri who stressed the main moments of the weekend, involving those present with the energy that characterises them.

EA7 Emporio Armani has made available a selection of jackets from the autumn/winter 2018/19 collection, which skiers were able to test on the slopes, appreciating their style and technology.

Also at Sestriere, ski tests were carried out with Völkl quality material.

EA7 Emporio Armani Sportour will end with the sixth stage in Courmayeur on the weekend of 1-3 March. The special guest at the event will be the Italian women’s volleyball player Paola Egonu.

The Tour, which started on 18 January in Bormio, passed through the towns of Corvara Ponte di Legno, Anterselva and Valdaora and Sestriere.
